“We have not been able to fill the gap with Lube in SuperLega – said the coach of Diatec Trentino Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of the match – We gave everything but we have not been able to strike with our service against a great Civitanova. We did many service errors, because we tried hard to catch Christenson off guard but we didn't manage to. We should have got a perfect side out to fight point to point, but instead our side out was just good. Despite the defeat I think that this second place in the tournament is really a good result for us; we broke our limits to gained it. Our attitude is the right one but we should try to give something more.”
Diatec Trentino will come back to Trento in today evening but it will be already time to pack up on Wednesday morning to travel to Finland, where on Thursday evening (5.30 p.m) Diatec Trentino will play the going match of the round of sixteen of CEV Cup 2017 versus VaLePa Sastamala. In SuperLega the next match will be the one on next Sunday in Bursto Arsizio versus Revivre Milano (6.00 p.m, 21st day of regular season).
